Rain-X while driving

Rain-X Driving

Posted on August 28, 2024 by Analyst

Every wonder if Rain-X helps? Normally, I don’t simply promote products but this stuff can come in quite handy. I had reason to appreciate it’s ability during a long rainy trip. In the six hours of drive time, the rain barely let up and I was glad I had applied it ahead of time. For most of the trip I did not even use the wipers even in the heaviest conditions. Seems to me it also helped ensure I didn’t suffer from wiper sleepiness too. I have not noticed any ill effects or premature degradation of wipers. The view of water climbing the wind screen is quite interesting as seen below.

This stuff is worth applying before any rain day drives.

If you don't mind giving away your data, there are many home monitoring solutions. None seem to offer the features of the old TED or recently departed IoTawatt. Too bad the useful ones disappear.
