Another 1.5 Hotter?

Posted on January 13, 2025February 24, 2026 by Analyst

Hear ye, hear ye! The drum beats and bells ring to the alarmists new decree. Global temperatures are up more than 1.5C! Oh my gosh, we are all going to perish. Of course none of the posted claims include hard evidence or cite verifiable data. In Fact, they often occur along side articles on extreme cold events. With conflicting articles though, which is it? Cold or hot? What is really going on?

No doubt new heat records have been attained in some areas, but an equal amount cold of records have been established as well. Obviously there are differences from place to place yet overall data doesn’t validate a global warming trend. Any equal percentage of people would likely say claim a cooling trend to be more accurate especially areas under increasing cloud cover. Any notable increases in temperature should be quite apparent in zones around the equator yet La Nina’s cooling trend is the rule of day now.

Warmer and colder years occur everywhere which anyone who has lived a while in one location can attest to. It may even be considered rather cyclical although over longer terms. Even where I grew up there were Decembers where we had little to no snow and it was rather warm but there were others of extreme cold and snow a plenty. Some change is normal and there have been times that were much hotter like the dirty 30s. Even much of the 80s presented with extremely hot weather. A blind faith in a global catastrophic change isn’t warranted. It may simply be a matter of a more connected world where extremes in weather are now seem by all. Records show they happened all the time but visibility to the average person has increased dramatically over the last few decades.

Some point to wild fires as a result of so called climate change – the 1.5C death rise. Doing so without any real analysis is either deliberately misleading, foolish, or both. The fact is that management practices to prevent these fires has almost disappeared in wake of environmental “leave it alone” policies. Dead fall and over growth used to be clean up and preventive burns were done regularly. That can’t be done because of so called carbon emissions and the result is clear. Look at California and Jasper Canada – not climate issues, but a deliberate slackened effort to proactively dealing with potential fire problems.

Equally stupid are claims of rising ocean levels. No coastal area on earth has experienced sea level rise apart from the normal tides or storm surges. Erosion from storm surge, yes, but no rise in sea level. The two are not the same and using erosion to claim a sea level is rise is ignorant. Those supporting climate theory say it’s from melting snow and ice but any ice in the ocean displaces more than it would if melted so if anything, the opposite may be a more realistic expectation. Meting snow, however, likely zeros out displacement leaving a null effect anyway. So much for rising sea level theory.

Historically facts are clear. Colder and hotter years exist and will continue to. Cyclical change is the norm and what we actually experience. Climate change believers miss the mark and would do well to follow the money. Much is made from fear mongering and closer examination reveals an entire industry based on it. Add to it all the new government “rules” and its apparent the real industry is there to control and make money. One only has to use a bit of logic and sense to understand this but that requires a healthy dose of skepticism, a willingness to accept reality, and giving up on blind media compliance.

Other issues to consider in this debate such as listed in Why Climate Change Isn’t a Thing, are just a valid, but actual evidence when taken from all sides does point to cyclical events and very little real change. Nothing in the data suggests the activities of man in terms of pollution are having a strong impact any much of the data available has been shown to be skewed or flawed making the issue more convoluted and difficult to decipher. But if you follow the money, it does seem to fall into the Energy Scam.
