The trend towards authority, compliance, and obedience continues virtually unnoticed. Imperceptibly, government departments everywhere have been changing their names to convey a new, more domineering stance. They have all become an “authority”.
Despite most government departments lacking even a basic sense of reality, they now claim to be an authority on every subject and to ensure you believe it, they named themselves as such. Suddenly they are an authority on your health, business, and even on how you park. This quiet name change has helped foster a top down dictator style of governance affecting all aspects of life. It is meant to stifle independent thought and prevent any discontent with even the most absurd decisions and it goes on to subtle levels of control including when you can turn left at an intersection. God forbid you make that decision yourself.
Freedom to choose, freedom to speak, freedom of religion and even basic human rights have been under direct attack for a long time yet largely unnoticed or unchallenged. As a prime example, take the fact that in Canada you go to jail for trying to protect your home and family from those who would invade and threaten your very existence. In Canada you go to jail for protesting government decisions or actions. In Canada your news and internet information is restricted and controlled. So it’s working. They have claimed authority and are exercising it with only the occasional whimper.
Companies and unions have all followed suit promoting only special interests, targeting independent thought, and firing those who would dare question the accepted narrative. The strangle hold has only accelerated with government encouragement to rat out any dissenters and technology tracking every aspect of life. AI assisted analysis of people’s habits has led to an extremely accurate and effective propaganda campaign involving all forms of media, entertainment, and internet activity to further push compliance and complacency.
This man contrived rules based system has been stifling productivity, free thought, and growth for so long most have become blind or have simply given up. So long as there is pot and entertainment, people seem content to ignore the authoritarian nature of this system. This man contrived system will certainly fail, but the system itself is designed perfectly for one to take full control over all things which isn’t much of a shocker to anyone familiar with the Word of God. It seems man is running headlong into the predicted end result despite having rejected God and His Word. Even so, Jesus will come again and all will bend the knee as promised including these so called authorities.
